What can I do?

I was manhandled from a pub by a member of staff and pushed into a door frame that caused swelling to my head. I had done nothing to warrant such an action. I have three eyewitnesses, one of whom was the privately- hired door-supervisor. I intend to write to the brewery- can someone tell me what options are open to me?

1} If is was recent, have photographs taken of the bruising while it is fresh.
2} Complain to the Police about ABH/Assault
3} Report the matter to the Local Council Licensing Dept. as there may be a breach of a licensing condition
4} Report the matter to the Security Industry Authority. Members of pub staff responsible for security have to be qualified and licensed. It seems this person may have crossed the line and let themselves into a difficult legal situation.

I'm not doubting you, but it's very unlikely that a member of staff will forcibly eject a well behaved, paying customer as its hardly in their interest - unless of course it's a case of mistaken identity.
I assume the door supervisor is only a witness to the fact that you got pushed into a door frame and not to what went on before?
What options are open to you? Write to the owners or managers of the pub by all means with a complaint. I'm not sure what you're expecting? An apology? Or are you hoping to sue someone? There's usually a good reason why people get ejected from pubs.
