Well think about what she's looking for.

Does she have any idiosyncriscities you could highlight? Examples of when she's been a complete 'nana or really come through?

You sound like you have the basics, you just need to pad them out a bit.

What does she like doing? What's her ideal man? How does she like to spend a Friday night? Taste in music, books, films? Fav food? Fav drink? Hobbies? Interests? All the usual tat you'd get on a first date... That sort of thing.

I did this for my friend- its really hard because whatever you say you know your friend wont like it.

my friend said my first draft made her sound desperate, my second draft made her sound lonely and the last one i gave up on because she said she sounded a 'bit too radical'.

I hope you friend is less sensitive :)

Whisks I recently did this for my best mate and it was really bloody tough!
I end up writing a pathetic little piece full of cliches as you said but luckily she loved it! Bear in mind the friend can add to the profile but cannot change what you have put so make sure you don't embarrass her too much!

Thing is she's dead fussy too and she was making me work to a strict deadline (you know she wanted it done there and then) so I was really under pressure.
It's very hard, especially when the guidelines tell you not to flatter the friend!
I'll make sure I won't ask you to do mine if I decided to go on it, I wouldn't wish that task on anyone!
