WAGs good role models?
Education experts claim the blonde, fake-tanned WAGs, famous for spending their footballer boyfriend's money are actually great role models for women who want to get on in life. They apparently all have some 'decent' qualifications Victoria Beckham has a handful of GCSEs as does Colleen. Stephen Gerrard's wife also has a beauty qualification. What do you think? Are these women good role models? We very rarely see a picture of them returning from work only partying and shopping? We don't know about these women's qualifications, only that they need never worry about work or money after they bagged footballer partners.

If a footballer's wife or girlfriend spends a lot of money and chooses to look a certain way - where is the quantum leap that makes that behaviour into a 'role model'?
Children should be taught to respect themselves as individuals, not to envy women who simply happen to have relationships with professional athletes, and enjoy the money that their relationship brings.
My children have had two 'role models' growing up - their parents. Anyt media-generated nonsense has been put into context, and then dismissed for the frippery it is.
