What is the one item of clothing or footwear that a woman can wear that in your opinion makes her look too tarty to touch........?

I always think those thigh length boots are SO awful! They do women no favours at all - and women who wear them are sadly delusional if they think they look good!

you just described my ideal woman pink kitty.

have you seen china doll ???

lmao
no i have not seen china doll...which description was it that matched - the hooker boots? chav chains? tangerine tan? thong on display? or all of the above?

I had always thought china doll would look like...well, a china doll. porcelain skinned and petite!
for women,
a red lacy top
or a sheer, see through top
or low rise jeans with knickers showing

for blokes, a tattoo or a leather jacket
I think thigh high boots look good -only a certain few can carry it off tho :)

I think it all depends on the person - some people can wear anything (and I envy them!) I don't like to see crop tops on women with a beer belly particularly if it overhangs the waist band of some low rise jeans.
I also think that very short skirts look okay on younger women (depending on their legs of course) but not so on older women even if the legs are okay. Particularly if it is worn with high heeled leopard print shoes and dyed blond hair with visible roots!
Just think Liz on corrie enough to turn me off the fairer sex for life.
Anything that shows too much flesh. Cos what they seem to be saying is "here I am, come and get it" whether or not they mean too. I reckon boob-tube type chavvy tops and low cut tight jeans that show thongs and arse are fairly nasty. Also quality of clothes doesn't help- cheap clubbing clothes rarely look nice!
boob tubes are great
as long as the boobs can hold it up

easy access

as far as i can rememeber anyways lol
I think looking 'tarty' is less a matter of what a woman wers, than how she wears it, and her overall demenour.

I have seen a woman in a business suit look and sound dreadful because she was drunk and loud, and I have seen a girl with a crop top and bling look utterly desireable, and innocent - it's in the eyes - and the behaviour.
interesting take on it Mr Hughes

oh and I can carry off a pair of thigh boots quite nicely thanks very much !
Bleached blonde hair-especially on women 'of a certain age',squared-off super-long acrylic nails, shiney, greasy looking makeup, too muck tacky looking bling...etc etc etc. It is a kind of 'ident-a-kit' look in my city
Yesterday on Neighbours I noticed one of the characters, Pepper, wearing grey thigh length boots with a long top - red and grey.
She looked stunning and could totally pull it off.
However, ifyou see some people wearing this, they'd look disgraceful. I, myself, couldn't pull it off. I think you have to be beautiful and confident to pulls omething potentially tacky off!!

But as for the tarty thing - every on has basically said it in not so many words.
The chav look.
Female chavs = tarts lol. Pretty obv!
And then the mutton dressed as lamb look.

Always two very big no-no's!
Hi pink flower,
Can you elaborate on the mutton dressed as lamb look,I am 56 and often wonder about the clothes I wear
sj
pink flower,
I should have said I am female!
sj
for me it white high heel shoes with dark tights ,stockings
I was brought up in a dockland area and this was standard dress when i was young for the ladies of the night , years on it still make me cringe GypsyX
maybe crutchless pants make me look a little tarty.

lmao

no good in this weather as the breeze freezes
lol @ baileybird

yep bit chilly eh
I think an ankle say it all
Sorry, I meant anklechain
