One leg Rolled up...hands down pants...why?

While watching the X Factor last night, I noticed that the choreographer had one leg rolled up. Why do they do that? I just read two different reasons...one meaning is left leg = buying, right leg = selling. another meaning is to show that they have no police ankle tag, presumable because they are so tough that they are always getting stopped by the police. Do kids know the reason they do this these days?

AND WHILE IM ON THIS SUBJECT, why is my local high street full of kids with their hads down the front of their trousers? what exactly does this mean. I dread to think, but i just wanna know why they do it?

The trouser leg rolled up on a black person is meant to represent the chain on thier ankle when they were slaves, i asked, and i have asked a few and got the same reply. Hand down trousers is for comforting themselves. I have also asked how they keep thier trainers so white and the answer i keep getting is; 'don't step in shi7'.

That would make sense about the trouser legs, cheers. But the hands down the trousers for comfort? Thats rather worrying!! I think people these days do these things to look cool without knowing what it means.....

I have asked my students about keeping their sneakers (trainers) so white. They use baby or clorox wipes daily and also will use a toothbrush to keep the nooks and crannies clean. Most of the kids say they do this everyday on the pair they wear that day. I never heard about the pants leg up. Some do wear the style. The hands in the trousers I see all the time and yell at them about it.

Choreographers do it to help students remember which leg is the lead leg in a particular routine.

A surprising amount of people confuse their left and right legs.

I thought the whole white trainer thing was to do with them not getting dirty whilst being in prison, hence them being referred to as "prison whites".

Didn't Timmy Mallett used to roll one leg up on Wakaday? Maybe these kids should be reminded that they are more similar to Timmy than Fiddy :-)

Hahaha being a child of the 80s surprisingy I dont remember that about timmy mallett, but Ive heard trainers being reffered to as prison white. Something I also noticed last week, that alot of lads in schools these days are wearing pink things...socks, scarves, BAGS...now im not old fashioned, Pink although not my personal choice of colour, is a nice colour and I respect anyone male or female that prefer it over others, but these lads seem to be wearing overly pink things....Is their a particular point to this or is it just their favourite colour?

I think the whole pink thing is that it apparently shows confidence i.e. you're masculine enough to wear pink and not be seen as ...errrr..... effeminate :-)

Lol I am very ashamed of myself. I barely remember Timmy mallet with that stupid hammer! I think the pink thing isnt working as its making them all look effeminate! Didnt Peter andre say he wears pink because he is 'comfprtable with his sexuality?' I wonder what that means exactly?????
