french beans

why if i cook french beans either steam, boil or nuke do they squeak when you eat them..? hubby cant stand the sound and so wont eat them!!

I can't stand squeaky beans either, neither can Jamie Oliver. Just cook them a bit longer.

You are not cooking them long enough.Trust me, my hubby and son said the same thing to me when I cooked them so I let them cook for another 5 mins and the squeak is gone !
