i-tunes help
2 Answers
Hi everyone, my computer is running slow as it is full of stuff which really isn't needed anymore/ To save trying to delete endless amounts, I would like to restore to how it was when i first got it. However, my daughter is worried because she said she will lose everything on her i-pod. Can anyone give me a solution to this please?

Let's start with your internet options. Your pc could be full of files you don't even know are there. Open internet explorer, then go to tools (up there, top of screen), Internet Options, Delete Cookies, then delete Files, then delete clear history. If you're not doing this regularly this will take a while and will make ahuge difference to your pc speed, as you'll free a lot of memory.
Next, if you like, we'll defrag your pc to free up some hard-disk space. Go to My Computer, right click, choose properties, Tools, and Defragment now. This again takes a little while to complete.
Oh, and NEVER delete programs - they could be sharing files with ones you use - use the uninstall option in control panel instead, but you shouldn't need to. If your daughter's music is clogging your system (not unheard of but maybe unlikely) I suggest going to Argis and getting a cheap external hard-drive and putting the music on there instead.
