Yes I went their a couple of months back when visiting birmingham for the Police reunion gig at the NIA. I had heard of it and it looked good on the internet, so I wanted to go have a look. My thoughts were that it was terrible because:
It was hard to find as a tourist we found the carpark for the bullring, then parked, walked our way out of the carpark then found ourselves in the middle of no where with no signs. We thought the carparks were connected to the bullring, but no you have to walk a long distance past some terrible market stalls to get to it.
There were quite a few steps the way we walked to the bull ring which were not nice to climb.
Where were no shops that interested me in the end but selfridges, I really spent as little time as possible at the bullring and then left asap, as it was full of odd people. If a shopping centre is in the outskirts of a city it limits the people who go there to people who drive or have the money to get there. But when it is city centre based you tend to get anyone including scarring people who look like they have escaped from a mental hospitals or who look like they havent any money and want to rob you. I felt insecure there, and wanted to leave.
I cannot remember seeing leaflets or information boards on where shops were located. But then again I didnt stay long.
