nice to monaco via helicopter

hello all !! has anybody taken the short trip from nice airport to monaco via helicopter and back ? how much was it ? did u book before you went or booked there on speck? any tips or advice would be great for this novice!!

I haven't done it but here is some info:

Helicopter flights depart every 30 minutes between Nice C�te d'Azur Airport and the Principality of Monaco at the following times on a daily basis: Nice-Monaco from 08:45 to 19:45hrs and Monaco-Nice 08:00 to 19:30hrs.

On arrival in Monaco, the Heliport offers a free minibus shuttle service to all the main hotels in the Principality. The average flight time is approximately 6 minutes and the special Momentum fare is �90 per transfer to Monaco per person, or �165 return.

There are regularly scheduled helicopter services from Nice airport (NCE) to Monte Carlo heliport Terre-Plein de Fontvieille (MCM) which is just to the east of the casino. They run up until the evenings, with the last one, as I recall, leaving Nice airport around 2130. For community peace, there�s no service after 2200, including private helicopter services from the port.

I�m not certain where you�re staying but there�s also a heliport near the Negresco. When not at the harbour, I mix my stays between staying at the Hotel de Paris and the Negresco depending on my clients. Both are lovely, but both have their own unique personality. If you�re at the Negresco, the Chief Concierge, Jean Paul, can arrange a private helicopter with thirty minutes notice. (he�s done it for me several times.)

Scheduled services average circa �100 between key points. Travel times from NCE to MCM is under ten minutes.
