Answerbank family

Good morning fellow ABer's
Following on from Village Vicar's reply yesterday when he said that there is an "AB family". This promted my to wonder, did you choose Answerbank, or did Answerbank choose you?

I started on here just over 2 years ago asking about how to make real Beefburgers thinking I would get my answer and only use AB if I really needed an answer to anything, now I'm hooked!! Look at what happens when AB goes down for maintenance or if there is an I.P fault, yesterday I had messages from other ABers on MySpace and MSN asking if the site was running or not? I was going to ask the same question myself.

Can you live without Answerbank?

Someone told me about this site when I was looking for an answer to a problem - just about 1 year now I suppose.
The thing is when I mentioned the site to him a few weeks back he claims never to have heard of it so I'm now wondering if there were strange forces at work!
Love it now but don't use it all the time.

I came on looking for an answer, didn't get it, found that others were asking the same question, did some research & found the answer myself. I enjoyed supplying the answers to the others who asked it and so continued to try and help where I could with other answers.

During the course of answering I have also learnt a lot of things I didn't know & enjoyed reading many of the postings and laughing at some of the characters & their remarks.
