<b>Pedagogue</b> from the Greek "paidagogos" meaning a slave who took a child to and from school. The root Greek words are "paid" = child or boy, and "agogos" = leading. it has come to mean a schoolmaster, especially a strict, dogmatic, or pedantic one.
