Which TV?!?

hi, i'm shoppin for a new tv and totally overwhelmed by choice but have it down to 2...

a philips 42" full HD LCD for �899

or

an lg 42" HDready LCD with home cinema system surround sound + dvd player and glass stand for �999

i'm really torn, i knoiw the phillips is a better tv, but the whole package with the lg is very tempting...

any advice please!?!
