Does anyone know of something which can be used for task lighting in kitchen for partially sighted lady - she only has 2 sockets which are in use - is there something that can stick on the underneath of wall cupboards?

aldis were selling some under unit lights the other week. spot lights in a flat unit which will hide under a wall unit.

Ive put some in my kitchen a few years ago, i ran the cable up from the wall socket into a wall unit and out again to keep it tidy.

DIY shops will also sell a battery powered one that has screws to fix it to a wall of cupboard, they tend to be a strip light type though
Been after something similar for a while, got a studio cards catalogue recently and they have some battery powered under cupboard lights for around 4 each, I know some of their stuff is pretty naff, but at that price I'm going to order a couple and hope for the best!
B&Q have battery powered halogen spots at 4.99 each. I bought 2 and stuck one to the underneath of the top bunk on my grandchildrens bunk beds. It gives a great light to the bottom bunk without lighting the top one . I think these would be good for you as they give good light.
