I always do my sausages in the oven and normally enough fat comes out to make sure they're not dried out. I put them on tin foil because they get quite stuck otherwise, but I don't cover them. Dead easy...
For your 'do' though, you could try cooking them first, then cutting them up a bit smaller and pouring honey on them, then cook a little bit more. You'll need cocktail sticks as they'll be sticky, but they taste great!! It's really simple, and people will never believe that that's all you did. I used to run a pub and gave these sausages to any visiting quiz teams, and to the locals on a Sunday morning. Always went down VERY well!!
