finding out the facts about..... someone (lets say 'duffer')

I sort of like this guy, 'duffer', but I think he's married with kids and also may be slightly mentally 'unstable' and a bit of a compulsive liar ..... now I dont have solid proof of this , its just a feeling that he's hiding something, so I know I'm at least 50% right (I'm right about most things so why stop now?)

Other than hiring a private detective, or hacking into his dusty old desktop computer...... how can I find out the facts about this person???

well, I always say go with your gut instinct its rarely ever off the mark, dont discount his computer, he may have email that is incriminating ect..

however if you get this impression from the outset are you sure he is the guy for you?...

i'm guessing if he wont tell me the truth, then he's probably not the right person for me
