candle wax removal

does anyone know how to get dried candle wax off of the carpet?  i stupidly lit some candles in my bed room and didnt realise that the wax was dripping everywhere!!!  ive tried scrapping it off with a knife but ive had no luck.  please if anyone has any ideas cause it looks pretty terrible!!!  thanks x

use some brown wrapping paper that you would normally wrap a school book, put the none shiny side on the candle wax marks and iron on top of the brown paper it will suck into the brown paper. NB. remember to use clean paper or to shift it around when candle wax sink sucks into paper.
