Your eminence, thank you for answering, no I don't think that is the one for I don't recognise the author, I have at the back of my mind that it may be Joyce Porter who wrote the extremely funny Dover books but not sure at all!

I don't know any crime novels by lucy teatime. What are they like and are they good.

Lucy Teatime didn't write crime novels, she was a character in them. She played a very demure old lady but with a decidedly iffy attitude. See Smiffy's answer. As to "are they good" well I enjoyed them and found them funny.
