Drop your attitude. I know your body needs fat, but it would be better getting fat from nuts and things than greasy lard burgers from MaccyD's. If you'd read it, I'm saying that if you live on unhealthy food it will make your skin and hair unhealthy too. Are you telling me that Fast Food is healthy? Are you claiming that you can live on a diet of burgers chips and pizza and have glowing skin? If you are then write a book because you'd make a chuffing fortune.
In Health Magazines do they tell you to eat 5 portions of fruit and veg a day and 8 glasses of water for good skin? Or a large pizza with extra cheese, a bottle of coke and a portion of chips?

I'm not the only one with a 'tude here.  There is no link between eating unhealthy food and having unhealthy skin and hair.  That is just ridiculous.  Firstly, hair is dead.  Second, skin gets clogged from the outside and that is why you get pimples.

Of course you shouldn't eat unhealthy food.  But eating it won't give you pimples unless you touch your face with your greasy fingers.

The fruit, vegetables and water are good for your skin because they hydrate it and keep it from flaking, not because they keep you from getting pimples.

Which is what I said. I haven't mentioned once spots, or pimples. I've said bad skin, dull skin. It is proved that a healthy diet gives you a heathier compexion. I cannot be arsed discussing something o obvious this late on a Friday afternoon. A bad diet leads to dull, lifeless skin (NB I DIDNT SAY SPOTS) a healthy diet will give firm fresh skin. Now I'm going home. Goodnight.
The question was can McD's give you spots.  I was answering the question.

Janey, of course the things you eat can give you pimples.  I know many people (thankfully not me) who break out in pimples if they ever eat chocolate.  It's absurd to say that the food you put in your body is not responsible for the way your body reacts.

< P>The fat you get in McD is highly saturated fat.  It is not the healthy fat that is in nuts and fish.  The highly saturated fat is what builds up cholesterol in your body, which is definitely bad for you.

I take 1 cheeseburger, 1 quarter pounder with cheese, a medium portion of fried and a medium coke, and whack it all in the blender. Then I use it as a face pack. And I have GREAT skin.
But if teenagers get spots, that is caused by overactive sebaceous glands, producing too much oil. So skin doesn't get greasy because of sticky fingers, it is also because of the amount of oil the skin follicles produce. Which increases as a teenager.
