Star Wars: Battlefront 2

I have an XBOX 360 and was wondering if Star Wars: Battlefront 2 would work on it and also is the hoth map included on it as I had the original Battlefront and got rid of it, but I am just watching The Empire Strikes back on tv and it has got me in the mood for a blast.

unfotunatly like me on my xbox 360 elite there is no way off playing old xbox games

not "every" xbox game is playable on the 360 - but check out on the offical 360 website, it has a list of old games you can play on the 360 - unfortunatley, this is mainly done via internet updates through the 360, if you dont have a connection, then you have to do it via CD, which i havent done before, but cant see why that wouldnt work.

I played BLACK - that cool shooter from EA, the guys who made burnout on my 360, and it worked a treat!

however, i dont know about the "elite" 360 version, althought if the elite doesnt let you play old xbox games, then how on earth is it elite!

anyways, check their website, and search something along the lines of "backwards compatablity" - and youll find a nice list of old games you can play.

by the way, battlefield 2 is a quality game! i dont blame you for wanting to play it again - if they remade it for next gen, wow, that would be awsome! even if they just have it some HD textures and afew more HD and next-gen special effects like post processing etc, it would be EVEN better!

Fantastic guy's, your input has been most helpful. Yeah, I sometimes like to go back to playing classic games on my Elite but I know some don't work which is a pain in the hole. I never knew you could update using a cd!? Thankfully though I have live. If anyone would like to have a few games with me, feel free. My gamertag is Meanmaori. Cheers.
