I've just bought a used Ford Ka from a Ford Dealer. It has a brand new MOT but had an advisory notice saying "Nearside front macpherson strut has slight movement at the upper attachment" - Ford are telling me this is nothing to worry about, but should I ask them to repair it under the warranty?

Yes see how it goes. Mind you, you should have spotted this when checking the paperwork before buying and told them to fix it as part of the deal.
common fault with these cars and fiestas, part only costs around 20 quid from ford, also these cars are famous for broken coil springs so keep ane eye for that.

Thanks for your replies

As the MOT was almost expired they did a new one before I collected the car, hence why I wasn't aware of the problem. That plus the mountain of other paperwork that comes with getting a car!
