my bf dd and he lost control of the car and nearly crashed, i found out because he had damaged the axle? of the car, luckily nobody was injured, he was never caught for it but i nearly phoned the police myself i was fuming mad.
i think if you dd and lose you licence you should never get it back. . . . . .ever heard of a bus or taxi????
I hate dd and its just as bad as going out in the street and trying to kill someone with your bare hands,

Having lost a wife and son to a drink driver I suppose my views on license revocation is a bit too subjective. And whilst Im sure you may have felt your driving after having consumed alcohol was justified in some way, Im sure the hindsight might be a bit different had you hurt or killed someone hopefully at least. Im sure the sentence you received took into account every element of the defence you presented, therefore, I dont feel its appropriate for you to receive your license back early.
However, our justice system is a compassionate one. Theres every possibility that should you present that you have a hardship in not being able to drive, they might reconsider your sentence. I only wish there were someone to reconsider ours.
