Amnesia - then I could pretend I'd forgotten all the details - and it'd excuse me not answering any awkward questions.

crikey , if it were my boss he says things like , "what youve been actually sick all night ?? thats impossible to do , he questions everything , ring me back in an hour and give me a update and all that , called managing sickness, actually a very succesfull manager, gets the figures but what a pig to work for and if he was found duffed up in the street , the police would have a right job catching the suspects ...as there would be that many .........lol much better to get work life into perspective ...takes some learning but I am trying
Hey San. (big wave!)
Be smart here. Heavy cold, lots of sneezing. Potential for other worker infection.
Be off for 2 days, come back coughing. Safe!
Well a bit of sickness and diarrhea (I've been up all night you know) is a simple choice. I didn't overdo my sickies and this usually is a one day wonder anyway but I once had to phone in every day for over a week with a real sickness I couldn't shake off. When I got back my colleagues asked what I had really been doing while off.
Later I realised I had suffered from a bug in the tap water I had consumed at work. Because my sick dates tallied with secret dates of the outbreak I successfully sued the water company for a 4 figure compensation and was therefore able to prove a legitimate bout of sickness.
