i hope you see this sometime.
if you look back at your original thread, you will see how a number of us are anxious to hear from you regarding the welfare of your cat .... there is a small part of me that thinks that all has not gone so somothly and that you are very upset - hence the fact that we have not heard from you. i do hope that i am dreadfully wrong, and that your little tyke is recovering well.
please - if you feel up to it - come back and let us know.
hope to hear from you

Hi and thanks for the message =)
Sorry I didnt reply yesterday, he is great !
Phoned the vet in the morning and she said that he was coming round well after the anaesthetic and looked bright and alert. We went to get him around teatime , I was so glad to see him, and see that he was ok.
He has to go back for a check-up on monday just to check that his organs havn't been affected but the vet seems optimistic that everything should be fine.
What a horrible experience the whole thing was! Thank you to everyone who offered advice and showed concern. Whiskers sends a big rumbly purr to you!

Yes I'm the same, our oldest girl used to worry me sick, she goes away for days on end and I'd worry about her all the time shes gone.
Now Im used to it and can just about stand two or three days, then after that Im terrified even though I know she'll come home ok!
They are our babies, dont know what I'd do without them!

If one of my two refuses food I am in a panic, then I start watching them like a hawk and listening for strange noises.
I am really glad that I don't have human children (bald kitties) or I would be at the doctor every week.
And when they are ill they are so pathetic - they either want endless cuddles or hide away in a cupboard.
We love them to bits, when we don't feel like strangling them.
