I sat down to watch this programme this afternoon, having recorded it last week-only to find that the kids taped over the end!!!!!!!!Can anyone tell me what happened after the solicitors father was murdered and Michael was going to drive his car into the village?

The housesitter reealised the game was up and tried to get the young man to murder someone else - forget who. But he would not do it. So the older woman poisoned the young couple and killed herself. She left the baby alive however.

Michael drove the car to village to convince the shop-keeper that solicitors father was leaving and then dumped car so they got away with it. Later the house owners were due back and it was them that house-sitter planned to have murdered but Michael would not do it.
