Looking for the name of a song

Don't remember the lyrics, but it is a country song, by a male. It is about two people who were suppose to meet at a tree, but when one of the people got there they found a note pinned to a tree. I think but not sure that the note said something about wait for me, I'll be there. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
