Buying a parrot

I'm thinking of buy my first parrot and was wondering if anyone had any advice as to which is the easiest type to start with.

They are the most intelligent of birds and none of them are easy. They are wonderful animals who need lots of attention, lots of time out of their cage
and lots of company, and usually bond with one individual person. Please think carefully before getting one. If you are prepared for this commitment, then African Greys are really lovely birds to keep.
Even our small parrot friends, budgies, need lots of looking after and plenty to occupy them. A pair of budgies is a good idea. However, they are easier than the larger parrots. They can live for about seven or eight years.

Parrots need more than just sunflower seeds. they need fresh fruit and veg, out of cage excersise and bonding which can take a while and expect to get bitten in the process. Also a good exotic pet insurance as they can be costly in vet fees.
We have a 7 year old grey, he follos us from room to room, even in to the bath and sits on the side.
