I've only been in my job for 4 weeks but im giving my notice tomorrow as i have now been offered a better job with a different company but same business as im already in. how much notice do i have to give? im salaried.

Your contract should tell you, but if you are paid monthly then I'd say one calendar months notice.

Hi Bunny - As you have been there such a short time I would say you could pretty much get out when you wanted to. However, if you want a reference, give the required notice, which will be stated in your contract. x

thanks folks, even tho its a large company im working for, unbelievingly i have never signed a cotract.
