Stuck on the last one in local quiz. Answers are anagrams of each other e.g. much/chum.

Clue: Person who sold provisions to builders/sheen of luminosity.

Could it be SUTLER / LUSTRE ?
although my dictionary definition of 'sutler' doesn't quite match the clue.

could be Sutler/Luster - Not too sure of the sutler as Chambers definition give supplier of provisions to the army.

Many thanks JimJools and gen2 for such prompt answers. I was thinking along the lines of lustre, but have never heard of a sutler, but I'm sure you're both right. Perhaps there's a small error in the clue.

A sutler is someone who sells provisions to the troops in the army !
