You have to think of many things bubbels.

How will you fund yourself whilst doing your 3 year diploma/degree? You cannot live off the NHS bursary if you're anything close to human. Do have children? Although childcare is available, think about extra costs. Are you available to work 3 long years of hours/days you don't get to choose when you're on placement? However, sticking it out can be quite rewarding! You'll get to place yourself on a ladder going up, and develop yourself constantly. HCA vs Nursing? You'll be payed much more, and you'll have the opportunity to work in different specialised areas.

Have you not got a mind of ur own?
You have nothing to lose, without sounding like nursing is any better than caring, if you begin the course and don't complete it you have care work to fall back on. I did care work for two years and absolutely loved it, the only thing that put me off was the hours. 'm happy in my job now (admin) but would love to go back to it when I'm a bit older.
