Damp/Mildew Walls

I decorated my bedroom 2 years ago. The condition of the room is excellent apart from one corner of the room which has gone black on the wallpaper due to damp.
I did treat the walls to a painted on damp proof before I papered but it has just started to go black.
Is there anything on the market which I can paint onto wallpaper to stop it getting worse. I don't want to just repaint that area as I know it wont help.
I need something to hide the black mildew as well as treat it (even if it only last another year)

Thankyou for your answers.
I really beleive that it is a condensation problem. It is the room where my wife does the ironing and the mould is in the corner (A good condensation trap)
I've read the links and got some good advice.
Thanks again
