Ther est goes on network and admin charges, it's quite normal. Even if 1p goes to the RSPCA it's still better than giving it to the x factor

Why not just send them a cheque and cut out the middle man?

Yeah, but it just annoys me how people waste their money on this reality tv s**t when they could do some good by texting to a different number instead. They are not going to write a cheque are they?

Do you not think it's a wee bit much paying �1.20 plus the cost of the text message and if you're in Scotland, it won't go to the SSPCA.
