housing benefit

when receiving housing benefit, do they take into account your 16 year olds part time wages when making an assement.

Please inform the benefit section that the 16 year old is working and they will require a copy of the wage slip for their records
but the gross wage will not be taken into account for any non dependant deductions until they reach 18 years of age
