A far away obscure song that no one on Earth knows

Does anyone know the name of a song that was out ages ago, about 1996 and it went ' Good times, Bad times, give me some of it, oooh ooooh hooo. It was sang by a woman with black hair and I think she was part of a band. Can anyone at all help please coz it's been buggin' me for years.Tar xxxxx

I think this was a tune called 'Good Times' by Edie Brickell, and a band called the New Bohemians. Don't hold me to it, but it's a place to start!

That's certainly it. Most people heard it (but didn't realise it) when they got their first copy of Windows 95, where the video appeared (along with Weezer's Buddy Holly) on the CD ROM as part of the showcase of what the program could do.

Concerning "Good times bad times give me some of it" I have been listening to the video at least weekly for 8th years on my PC. Love the song, the atmosphere created and the lovely girl who is singing. Who is she? If someone want a copy of this video I can send it over the www.

edie brickell is originally from texas, and met her husband paul simon, the songwriter/singer from the famous sixties duo, 'simon and garfunkel', and later a solo act, over a dozen years ago when she was on the long-running new york city based 'saturday night live' show, in which he has frequently been a host or musical guest or just hangs around since he is such a good friend of creator/producer lorne micheals. she was in her late 20's, he in his late 50's when they wed and since have 3 children.  she took time off after a disappointing sophomore album, and to be with the kids, but now is back.
