span, pop-ups, flash ads.

My hotmail account has flash ads playing which are really annoying. I have blocked pop-ups and have security, but I can't see how to remove these from mmy screen. HELP!

Are the flashing ads on the page it self? or are they popping up in additional windows? if they are in the same window that you need to view then that means they are part of the page and nothing can be done about it.

if they are popping up in other windows which used to keep getting, then try these two steos listed below. if they dont work then i dont know what will...

1)open up internet explorer, on the menu bar click on tools, then internet options. on the general tab depending on IE 6 or IE 7 the general tab is a bit different for the 2. temporary internet files or browsing history and select delete temporary internet files. Restart Internet explorer. Not windows LOL!!

2)again as in step 1 open IE and internet options from the tools menu, this time you want the privicy tab , pop up blocker is at the bottom, ensure that it is on and select pop up settings, then set it to high. when done OK it and your done.

NOTE!!
Just 1 problem. some sites that have pop up eg internet banking you will need the pop ups. to over ride the pop up blocker when selecting etc that will occur pop up needed hold CTRL (control and ALT) this will allow the pop up to appear.
