Red Eyes

Hi everyone, the whites of my eyes have been a little red for a few days, they just feel a little gritty, tried some optrex red eyes, that sort them out for a couple of hours then the redness appears again, any suggestions what else i can do for them and what maybe causing it..

Sounds like conjuctivitis, make sure you don't use the same towel for both eyes and that no one else uses it. Go see your GP- it clears very quickly and is very common so don't worry.

thanks wired but i know its not conjunctivitis cus ive had it before and they are not mattering, when i got the red eyes optrex from the chemist they looked at my eyes there and just told me to try the optrex.

my hubby recently was diagnosed with a condition called Blepharitis which makes the eyes red,sore and sensitive

one of the cures for this is baby shampoo,

dilute a very small drop of baby shampoo in a cup and with cotton buds wash the inside of the eye along the lower eye lid

it was recommended by the opticain and it does work
