thanks very much for asking. He is fine now. He had another check up at the vets and she gave him the all clear.
Managed to get him to the vet early enough so that no real damage was done, thank goodness !
He is his usual self now, lazing about, being a sook and annoying cleo, our young female cat !

it was frustrating being thrown off the site last weekend for four days - you must have wondered why my posts on tour thread were popping on and off ... the most annoying part of it was that despite several requests to the ed for an explanation - i heard nothing at all. i just realised by my own actions mid-week that i was back up and running.
i'm delighted to hear that your beloved is doing fine & i'm pleased that you followed my immediate suggestion in the first place.
my very best to you both ..... give him some strokes for me.
