dopey smells of eggs today...... phewww :(

Why does my hamster smell of eggs today? I dont think I fed him any today, he just had some carrots and peanuts for lunch and then 3 maltesers for dessert. So why is smelling of that god-awful eggy smell?? Please help or he may have to sleep in the garage tonight.

excuse me, my hamster loves my music collection, he's always dancing and hopping around whenevr I turn my stereo on... and then he sometimes exercises on his wheel too. We also watch tv together, loads of fun, dopey and me. I've to tuck him into bed now, nite nite.

It is the sulphur smell from the flatulence. You shouldn't have given him those beans for dinner.
Did you miss that program on TV last night? BBC2 did an half hour program on the pitfalls of feeding pet hamsters beans!
I hope you are not a smoker or the whole house might go up with all that gas around.

I really don't think you should take Dopey to bed with you. With all that extra food you've been giving him, it might roll over and squash you in the middle of the night.
I can see the headlines now "Dopey flattens Blue Wave during the night".

perhaps you are overloading him with maltesers and should resume to the good old fashioned hamster feed
