It's because she can't sing to save her life yet the look on her face suggests that she thinks she's putting real feeling and emotion into it. You're right though, I hate her too. Also, the lyrics are terrible which doesn't help things. They've put a different woman in there now who sings it like this: "I YAM WHAT I YAM!" Much worse.
