Come on Eds, Body & Soul is turning into a joke - all the I am black, what should i do type questions - and i suspect that ICeMANSAV isn't the same one as he's been rather intelligent so far and is now posting drivel like i am gay what should i do? Please edit or check!

Unfortunately, Becks, I have just realised that I answered the question from ICeMANSAV not realising it was an impersonator, as have some other regular users.

Would it not be possible to track IP addresses? It's not a perfect solution, but it's better than nothing.

becks - all those questions have been removed and posters banned, except one which has several informed, insightful, helpful answers. And, for the record, asks a perfectly understandable question.

Can I stress, again, that it makes more sense to 'Report' a question you don't like, than to post something here which only publicises what the pranksters (for want of a better word) are doing.

Fakeplastic - the answers to the remaining question are valid and informed, as I've said.

As for tracking the IP addresses, WaldoMcFroog -- yes and thanks, it is something that is under review.

AB Editor.  I can understand wholly why you have left the thread concerned, but am  concerned that the real ICEMANSAV might prefer it to be deleted,

I don't remember ever seeing the name ICEMANSAV before in any variation - perhaps I tend not to notice names much - and I would not want valid answers to be deleted just because of similar names.  e.g. I would not want "Banardo" to be banned just because he/she has a similar name.  Each thing should be judged by the content and quality of what it actually says, whether the questionner (or answerer) is an impostor or not.

Bernardo, ICEMANSAV posts a fair amount over this site and I notice his postings because of the very unusual user name.  Personally, if I were in his position I would not want this thread to remain.

I am the real ICEMANSAV because when I registered my caps lock was on! The impersonator I think I know who I told about the site! Makes no difference about the post remaining as the editor stated the replies that were contributed could help a genuine enquiry of this nature! I am only annoyed that i have brought a friend to this site inadvertently and they are ruining the site for other users which I am sorry for! Obviously I have asked my friends who have an internet connection but so far have no answers. thanks for the support guys.

My point was to highlight that yet again there is a problem with user names - and the fact that even though questions are reported, nothing is done. I don't expect an instant deletion - just wanted it noted that there is an imposter at work. Personally i wouldn't care if someone used something similar to my name because i would hope that people would realise - however they are sneaky and managed to fool some people. I also don't think "i am gay what should i do?" is a valid question - the second question he posts is more valid ie i feel ashamed/guilty don't know how to tell anyone etc is and if that had been posted in the first place i might have not realised. Not a criticism, i love AB and you Eds - but the question has prompted you to review IP addresses which Waldo suggested. Thanks Eds, Becks.

[I feel there are points in this post that need to be addressed:

"even though questions are reported, nothing is done": sorry, but that is not true. All reported posts are moderated. Sometimes no action is taken because there is no cause or reason.

"I also don't think "i am gay what should i do?" is a valid question". I disagree.

Personally, I am really pleased that ICEMANSAV has requested the thread to be removed or his user name taken from the question.  He has suffered a great deal of abuse today, which could have been avoided.
