Make-up sponges

What is the best way to clean make-up sponges and how often? thanks

I usually give mine a rinse out with facial wash every now & then. Make sure you rinse well afterwards though.

I just wash mine in warm water and washing up liquid with a little bit of disinfectant in the water.  I rinse them well in lots of cold water and leave to dry naturally.

 

I would like to say that I do this often, but I don't do it often enough.  Depends how often you use them.  However, I do have quite a few and change them regularly.  I then wash several in one go.

Because they're ever so cheap, I just throw them away and use another! Works out equivalent to 0.16p so I don't bother...

sweetheart, I throw them away too after a while, but like to wash the 'new' ones out, until they get to the cardboard stage that is!

The cardboard stage - I like it! Mine always get to that stage within a couple of weeks! Must be the way I use them! HMMMM. Got me thinking now!
