The plastic end of my curling tongs has come off. Would it be safe to stick it back on with Super Glue, bearing in mind they get very hot??? TIA :-)

"Superglue" is not heat resistant either
The best glue I know of is Loctite 745. It is as strong as superglue but far more tolerant of poor fit. It is rated at 120 degrees. However I have never seen it available in less then 50 millilitre industrial size bottles that cost about $100.
However when 745 breaks down from excessive heat it realeases very nasty smelling and undoubtedly highly toxic acrid fumes.
