does anyone remember a programme on in the early 90's about a boy who had an alien living in his house (unbeknown to his family. The alien was a man and his ears were back to front which meant he had to wear a funny hat so nonone would see. i don't know why i remember this but the alien used to say "blackholes and Quasars" when anything shocked him. it was a dreadful show but i was addicted to it all the same and would love to know what it was called and if anyone remembers it.

Blackholes and Quasars Nemi. that was Wot on Earth. Remember he use to wear a shell suit all the time, and he could turn himself into objects? Ah, happy days!

Yes its all coming back to me now, the turqoise shell suit, the silly hat, the boys name was sean. His family were really middle class, they ran a business from their house.They had no idea that an adult male was living in their young sons wardrobe. they don't make shows like that anymore !!

That was one of my favouritist programmes ever! In the first series his ears were back to front (they got mixed up when he transmogrified to Earth - of course! How silly!) and in the second series, it went wrong again, and they were - oh the hillarity - green!! And his name was "Wot". "Wot on Earth", you see..? Absolutely genious...

I have to agree with Banjo Wot did scare me a bit, think it was that bowl haircut, v frightening.

I don't think a show about an adult male living in a little boys bedroom, without the family knowing would be greenlighted nowadays.  Vaguley remember that show though.
