Disappearing Act ! I came home last night at around mid-night and had a quick look at Q & P before going to bed.
I hazarded a guess that one of the answers wanted was angle eider - (sounds like hang glider). I've just gone to have a look to see if there was any follow up to this and there is absolutely no sign of this nor of another thread for the same puzzle - and there's no sign of it in my profile either.
As I keep such extraordinarily late hours it's unlikely that anyone else will have seen this, but why are we persona non grata? Rosles, are you there? Were you my partner in crime? What have we done to deserve this?

Thank you Ventpeg for confirming that I wasn't imagining the incident. Unfortunately my memory is so bad that I've forgotten whether it actually was Rosles who started the thread. Should we contact the Ed to ask for the prisoner to be released? Do you remember anything that could have caused this?
seemed a normal question and answer ....

cannot recall who started the thread.
Hi kettledrum ; no, you are not imagining things !
Rosles started the thread (which I can access through "my Profile" and "threads involved in " )and answered her query, and posed mine --- which I acknowledged this morning (although I worked out the word/soundplay 5 minutes after logging off !
