I think it's time we sounded the death knell for the human rights act. A convicted murderer serving a "life sentance" Catherine Keaveny has won an appeal over a delay in her parole hearing! She is now in line for a compensation claim.....

The Human rights act only passed into UK law what already existed in European law.
After the Human rights act the only thing that changed is that decisions could be made in London rather than people having to take their case to the European court of Human rights.
