There is this guy where I work who I fancy, but he is going out with a girl who works here too. She is a year older then him, and was going on to me not long ago saying how she has 'tried' dumping him as she does not want a serious relationship, but obviously she didn't make the message very clear as they are still together. She has also cheated on him with many people!! But he does not know and I feel so sorry for him being kept in the dark. He is such a nice guy and I don't want to jump into anything serious but would like to go out with him for a drink or something just to get to know him better. He has no idea how I feel and I don't know what to do, as I don't know how he feels about me either. Is it best to just leave it as he still has a girlfriend?

If you want to go out for a drink with him to get to know him better, do it. It doesnt have to be a romantic evening out or anything, suggest it as a spur of the moment thing one evening as you are leaving work, and just have one or two. Then you can see what he's like outside of work, and possible develop it into a regular thing. Friday lunchtimes are good for this too. You'll also get a better idea how he feels about his lass.

She's not really a friend of mine, she works in a different department, she is a nice girl but I don't like her for cheating. And she has a big mouth, I don't really know why she was telling me she cheated as she hardly knows me!

If she's been going around bragging about sleeping around, the bloke will find out eventually and dump her. Then you can make your move. Dont tell himself though, if he really cares for her he could end up resenting you for it
