ticking under bonnet when car lights turned on

When i turn my lights on full beam, i have a loud ticking noise near the headlamp, its not a fuse or relay.
I have a "V" reg, 2.5 V6 vectra.
It never goes away and now the nights get darker earlier its very annoying.

Have you checked the headlamp levelling mechanism or the motor..?

I agree. I've got the same noise with my Mondeo. Definitely height adjuster motor.
