Is it worth having a professional Dermalogica Facial done if I have all the products at home and use them on a regular basis?

Hi wisewoman,

I bought a similar package (L'Oreal I think)and I started using it twice per week and I found it to be very much worth the money it cost. My skin is clear and hasn't dried out as it tends to do at this time of year with the central heating / cold weather etc.

My package didn't contain the facial sauna though.

I've had a Dermalogica facial done AND used the products and home and can't say I see any difference - apart from the fun of having someone else pamper you! I pretty much feel that way about all facials - if you take the time to do it well at home, and use good products, you can get great home-facial results - without shelling out �35! (By the way, I'm a beauty journalist, so have pretty much tried everything, and the facialists I know would probably kill me for being so honest!)

so where do i get something so fab? my skin is ok, but sometimes a wee bit blotchy on my cheeks
