Erratic page loading.

Can anyone, (especially AB Editor), explain why, recently, pages on AB can load instantly at one moment, then a few minutes later they take forever?
This morning it got so bad that I was getting 'Web Site not available' timeout messages. Similarly, attempting to submit an answer was producing 'Website not responding' messages. Yet a minute or two later, everything was back to instant response.

Annoying, or what ?!?!?!

I know exactly what you mean. Last weekend was awful, this site was so slow it took 5 mins just to go back one page. They seem to do maintenance on Sundays, so I don't even bother to come on here then. I've found that since the new options of avatars etc. have really slowed the whole thing down.
