This depends on many factors, I presume you mean by plane? The dog has to have a pet passport to allow it back into this country which takes six months to get because of the rabies jab, and there are only certain airports/airlines who carry animals. They charge on a weight basis, which includes the weight of the special carry box that is needed. It also depends on whether the dog is going to be accompanied by a passenger, or going as cargo on its own. They have to travel in the hold of the plane, so only certain planes can be used as the holds are not all heated or lit, or ventilated. At present you can only fly back to the UK from Alicante to Doncaster, Gatwick or Manchester, with certain airlines.
