DVD x8 and x16

When I download a movie I have created to a DVD x8 It will download, but when I use a DVD x16 I receive an error window box when it starts burning. and says it can not complete do to an error. Does not explain what error.

i think it means it is burning too quickly and is unable to burn the data you can turn down the burn to 8 x even when using a 16 speed disc
